Work within an Oil & Gas operational environment Job Title: Lighting Technician (Oil \& Gas – Short Term) **Project:** QE LNG Maintenance Project **Work Location:** RLIC, Qatar **Duration:** 2 Months Extendable **Start:** Mid week of March 2026 **End:** First week of June 2026 Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Lighting Technician for a short\-term ITP assignment to support **our client’s QE LNG Maintenance Project at QELNG North**, located in **Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar**. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of industrial lighting systems within an Oil \& Gas operational environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair industrial and facility lighting systems * Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of lighting equipment * Diagnose and rectify lighting faults efficiently and safely * Replace lamps, ballasts, fixtures, and associated electrical components * Ensure all work complies with **Oil \& Gas safety regulations** and site procedures * Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to meet project schedules * Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas * Follow permit\-to\-work (PTW) systems and HSE guidelines at all times Requirements \& Qualifications * Proven experience as a **Lighting Technician in the Oil \& Gas industry** * Prior experience working in **LNG plants or industrial facilities** is highly preferred * Valid technical qualification or trade certification (Electrical / Lighting) * Good understanding of industrial lighting systems and safety practices * Ability to work long hours in an industrial site environment * Physically fit and safety\-conscious * Immediate or short\-term availability is preferred **Employment Details** * **Salary:** QAR 3,120 per month * **Working Schedule:** * 10 hours per day \& 6 days per week * **Overtime:** Paid for hours worked beyond 10 hours per day * **Benefits:** Company\-provided **FAT (Food, Accommodation \& Transport)** ***Please note that applicants should answer the pre\-screening questions to be considered for this position*** ***THOSE WHO CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY SHOULD APPLY.
