Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on critical systems **Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Industry:** Facilities Management / Maintenance **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly experienced **Mechanical Engineer** with a strong background in Mechanical to lead and oversee facilities management operations. The ideal candidate must hold advanced certifications and bring extensive Gulf region experience in managing large‑scale projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage monthly and annual budgets for maintenance spares and expenses. * Train and supervise maintenance staff, including scheduling. * Perform root cause analysis on major failures and recommend corrective actions. * Verify PPM, repairs, and material requirements in the CAFM system. * Conduct site visits, technical analysis, cooling load calculations, and submit condition reports. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on critical systems. * Ensure compliance with NFPA and QCDD standards. * Provide 24 × 7 coverage with minimum staffing per shift. * Support project upgrades and technical reporting. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering or related field**. * **Minimum 7 years of experience, including 3\+ years in the Gulf region.** * **UPDA/MMUP Grade B certification**. * NFPA 72 (Fire) certification. * CompEx Ex01‑04 (Electrical) certification.
