Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and attend client meetings **Job Summary:** EGEC Qatar is looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our on\-site team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical design within the engineering consultancy field, with strong technical and coordination capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and manage the mechanical design process for building services (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting). * Ensure compliance with international and Qatari mechanical codes and standards. * Prepare and review detailed design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, structural, architectural). * Supervise junior engineers and CAD/BIM technicians. * Attend project coordination and client meetings. * Support site teams during project execution when required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical design (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting). * Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and BIM software (mandatory). * Excellent command of AutoCAD, HAP, DuctSizer, PipeSizer, and other HVAC design tools. * Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus). * experience in engineering consultations companies is a must * UPDA certificate Grade A is a plus. **Preferred Skills:** * Leadership and team management skills. * Strong communication and negotiation abilities. * Familiarity with Qatari regulations and local authority submission processes.
