Serve as a key resource for all recreational activities facilitated at the property. Provide guests with information about available recreational facilities, which may include pool, beach, entertainment/game room, gym, and children's activity center. Motivate, recruit, register, and organize guests to participate in recreational activities. Foster a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Promote rules and regulations of recreational facilities aimed at maintaining guest and member safety and well-being. Monitor activity within the recreational facility and respond appropriately per local operating procedures in case of emergency. Provide cashier services when working in facilities involving point-of-sale transactions. Assist with private group activities and events held in recreational facilities. Remain alert to situations where guest participation in an activity may be unsafe and report to supervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Comply with company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company assets. Welcome and serve all guests according to company standards; anticipate guest service needs and fulfill them; assist guests with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals. Process payments for equipment rentals, recreational activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify malfunctions). Enter and locate job-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout full work shifts. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11 kg) without assistance and objects over 25 pounds (11 kg) with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Move in elevated, confined, or narrow spaces. Move on slippery, uneven, or inclined surfaces, including climbing up and down service stairs or ramps. Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting waist, crawling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
