Utilize strong AutoCAD skills in a project-driven environment Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Mechanical Draftsman** to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in preparing **MEP shop drawings, as\-built drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submissions** for building and construction projects. The candidate should have practical experience in **HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Irrigation systems**, with strong coordination skills and proficiency in AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed **shop drawings** for: * HVAC systems * Plumbing systems * Drainage systems * Firefighting systems * Irrigation systems * Prepare **As\-Built drawings** based on actual site installations. * Assist site teams by providing **shop drawings, layouts, and technical details**. * Coordinate with **Electrical, Civil, and Architectural teams** to ensure proper MEP integration. * Prepare **MEP coordination drawings** and resolve drawing\-related clashes. * Coordinate with subcontractors regarding drawings under their scope of work. * Arrange, review, and submit drawings to **consultants and clients** in the required project format. * Coordinate with **consultants and clients** regarding drawing submissions, comments, revisions, and approvals. * Maintain accurate records of **drawings, revisions, submissions, and approvals**. * Prepare **drawing submission logs** and coordinate with Document Control for timely transmittals. * Report to the **Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager** on drawing\-related activities. * Assist the Mechanical Engineer with other project\-related technical and drafting activities as required. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related field**. * **3–5 years of relevant experience** as a Mechanical Draftsman. * Strong experience in **MEP drafting** for building and construction projects. * Hands\-on experience in **HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Irrigation drawings**. * Experience preparing **Shop Drawings, As\-Built Drawings, and Coordination Drawings**. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Good understanding of MEP coordination with **Electrical, Civil, and Architectural disciplines**. * Experience coordinating with **subcontractors, consultants, clients, and site teams**. * Knowledge of drawing submission procedures, revisions, approvals, and transmittals. * Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. * Qatar/GCC project experience is an advantage.
