Summary: The Purchase Manager organizes and supervises purchasing functions, manages contracts, ensures product availability and quality, and coordinates the bid process. Highlights: 1. Oversee inventory levels and optimize procurement costs The Purchase Manager is responsible for organizing and supervising purchasing functions, including managing daily activities in purchasing, overseeing both day\-to\-day and capital project purchases, managing contracts (administering, negotiating, reviewing, renewing, filing, and evaluating), and ensuring the availability, price, terms, and quality of products. This role also involves coordinating the bid process and ensuring compliance with procurement conflict of interest policies and regulations. · Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies. · Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. · Ensure all invoices are accurately entered into the system within 48 hours of receipt. · Demonstrate effective communication and problem\-solving skills. · Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. · Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while maintaining sufficient stock levels to meet operational needs. · Cost Optimization: Monitor and control procurement costs while ensuring the quality and timely delivery of goods and services. · Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. · Budget Management: Collaborate with finance to develop and manage the procurement budget. · Conduct weekly random audits to verify the accuracy of the storekeeper's data entry into the system, ensuring compliance with inventory management standards and data integrity. · Administer, review, manage, file, evaluate, analyze, and negotiate contracts. · Negotiate or renegotiate and administer contracts with vendors. · Administer the bidding process and contracts, including preparing specifications, evaluating bids, and recommending vendors. · Research and evaluate vendors/contracts to ensure compliance with government regulations (e.g., vendor debarment and suspension regulation). · Office Supplies: Manage the procurement of office supplies and equipment, optimizing costs and maintaining inventory levels. · Evaluate vendors to ensure their performance aligns with established specifications. · Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. · Review and maintain a good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and document availability. · Back up purchasing clerk, including ordering supplies/goods, equipment, and material, reviewing, and processing/issuing purchase orders. · Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures. · Review and maintain a good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and document availability. · Degree in business administration or a related field. · Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position. · Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management. · Supervisory and management experience. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software. · Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills. · Strong planning and organizational skills. · Ability to work independently. · Ability to create reports and conduct cost analysis. · Ability to make quick decisions and excellent negotiation skills. · Ability to accurately review contracts. · Ability to manage time effectively. · Good problem\-solving skills and detail\-oriented. · Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel). · Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts. · Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Accurate and precise attention to detail. · Able to make decisions in a fast\-paced environment. Pay: QAR4,000\.00 \- QAR8,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
