Collaborative and fast-paced bakery environment Commis Baker – Japanese \& European Bakery **Job Summary:** We are looking for a hardworking and motivated **Commis Baker** with experience in **Japanese and European bakery products**. The candidate will assist the bakery team in daily preparation, production, baking, and presentation while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety. **Job Criteria:** * Previous experience as a **Commis Baker, Bakery Assistant, or similar position**. * Minimum **1–2 years of bakery experience**, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, café, or commercial bakery. * Experience in preparing **both Japanese and European\-style breads and pastries** is highly preferred. * Basic knowledge of **dough preparation, mixing, kneading, fermentation, proofing, shaping, and baking**. * Experience with Japanese bakery products such as: * Shokupan / Japanese milk bread * Melon pan * Anpan * Curry bread * Cream buns and soft breads * Experience with European bakery products such as: * Croissants and Danish pastries * Baguettes * Brioche * Sourdough and artisan breads * Various rolls, buns, and pastries * Able to follow recipes, measurements, and production schedules accurately. * Basic knowledge of bakery ingredients and their functions. * Able to operate bakery equipment such as **mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters**. * Knowledge of **food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper food handling**. * Able to maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery production area. * Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent product quality. * Able to work efficiently in a **fast\-paced bakery environment**. * Good teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn. * Flexible to work **shifts, weekends, and public holidays** as required. * **Japanese or European bakery experience is an advantage.** * Candidates with **Qatar/GCC experience** will be preferred. Pay: QAR2,200\.00 \- QAR3,200\.00 per month Work Location: In person
