Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime **MAINTENANCE ENGINEER** *For any interested applicant, kindly send your CV to hr@imcgulf.com* **Location:** Qatar **Industry:** Steel Construction / Steel Fabrication **Employment Type:** Full\-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Maintenance Engineer** to manage and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of factory machinery, production equipment, utilities, and facilities. The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous factory operations. Key Responsibilities * Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Maintain and troubleshoot **steel fabrication machinery**, welding machines, cranes, compressors, cutting machines, and other industrial equipment. * Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures. * Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records. * Coordinate with Production and Factory teams to minimize equipment downtime. * Manage maintenance tools, spare parts, and external service contractors. * Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely and according to manufacturer and company requirements. * Prepare maintenance reports and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and efficiency. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in **Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering**. * Minimum **5 years** of maintenance engineering experience, preferably in steel fabrication, construction, or industrial manufacturing. * Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance systems. * Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment. * Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. * GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
