Summary: Seeking an experienced Sr. QC Engineer - Welding to monitor and implement QA/QC procedures for welding and fabrication activities, ensuring compliance with international standards. Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, and international welding standards We are hiring an experienced **Sr. QC Engineer \- Welding** for a reputed company in **Qatar**. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures for welding and fabrication activities * Review WPS, PQR, WPQ, ITP, welding procedures, and inspection reports * Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications, codes, and standards * Conduct stage\-wise inspections for piping, structural steel, tanks, and fabrication works * Coordinate with production, engineering, and client inspection teams * Supervise welding inspection activities including fit\-up, visual inspection, dimensional checks, and final inspection * Review and verify NDT reports such as RT, UT, PT, MT, and hardness testing * Ensure calibration status of welding and inspection equipment * Monitor welder qualifications and welding consumable control systems * Prepare QA/QC documentation, punch lists, NCRs, corrective actions, and final dossiers * Participate in internal and client audits * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at site and workshop #### **Required Skills** * Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, ASTM, and international welding standards * Experience in steel fabrication, piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks, and structural steel * Good understanding of welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW \& SAW * Knowledge of NDT methods and interpretation of reports * Ability to handle client inspections and project documentation independently * Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills Attractive Salary Online Interview Job Duration : Long Term Qualification : B.E/B. Tech (Mech) Experience : 12\-15 years Strong Experience in Steel Fabrication, Piping, Tanks \& Steel Structural etc. CSWIP 3\.2 / AWS\-CWI / IWE or equivalent (for Piping/ pipeline/ mechanical)
