Train and guide new and existing employees on operational procedures. **Position:** Restaurant Supervisor **Department:** Operations **Reports To:** Branch Manager / Operations Manager **Location:** Restaurant Branch Job Summary The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting the team to achieve operational and sales targets. The Supervisor will monitor staff performance, coordinate shifts, resolve operational issues, and ensure company procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during assigned shifts. * Ensure the restaurant opens and operates according to the approved schedule. * Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, uniform, and overall performance. * Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. * Monitor order preparation, packing, serving, and delivery to minimize mistakes and delays. * Ensure food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are strictly followed. * Conduct regular checks of dining areas, kitchen, storage areas, equipment, and facilities. * Ensure proper handling and storage of food and company property. * Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or wastage to management. * Handle customer complaints professionally and take appropriate corrective action. * Monitor cash\-handling procedures and ensure transactions are processed correctly. * Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures, and operational instructions. * Allocate duties to employees and ensure adequate staffing during busy periods. * Train and guide new and existing employees on operational procedures and service standards. * Report staff misconduct, negligence, attendance issues, or operational problems to the Branch Manager. * Prepare and submit shift reports, incident reports, and other required operational records. * Monitor staff breaks and ensure they are taken according to company policy. * Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations. * Take immediate action in emergencies and report serious incidents to management. * Support management in achieving sales, customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost\-control targets. * Perform other duties assigned by the Branch Manager or Operations Manager. Requirements * Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Leader, or similar role. * Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations is preferred. * Good communication and leadership skills. * Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team. * Good customer\-service and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment. * Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and restaurant procedures. * Basic computer and reporting skills. * Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
