Maintain and update daily furniture inventory **Job Description** **Title:** Furniture Maintenance and Operations Supervisor **Purpose of the Role** To oversee the delivery, inspection, maintenance, and storage of furniture, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with standards, and timely support to internal stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive furniture delivery orders from CFD, take appropriate action, and issue furniture to requesters efficiently. * Conduct routine inspections of existing furniture, prepare snag reports, and submit them to the Head of Maintenance Section. * Ensure all furniture snags are rectified by the maintenance crew in a timely and efficient manner. * Store both used and new furniture appropriately, ensuring no damage occurs during internal transportation. * Coordinate with the Civil Technical Supervisor on carpentry maintenance tasks, including routine repair and painting of furniture such as workstations, partitions, classroom desks, chairs, cabinets, office tables, office chairs, countertops, wooden doors, and hardware. * Ensure all furniture delivery requests (from the store and to the store) are attended to on a daily basis. * Maintain and update furniture inventory daily, and inform the Head of Store whenever re\-ordering is required. * Inspect and take over new furniture supplied by outsourced vendors. * Monitor and take corrective action against furniture installation issues, ensuring compliance with approved layout/shop drawings. * Conduct routine inspections of the furniture warehouse to ensure proper storage of all items. * Perform miscellaneous job\-related duties as assigned by superiors. **Experience and Education** * Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design. * Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to furniture operations, maintenance, and inventory management.
