**Role Summary**
----------------
As a **Product Engineering Associate Manager**, you will drive the product vision by bringing the **voice of the customer** into product decisions and shaping outcomes using a **human\-centered design** approach. You will shape and manage the **product roadmap** and **product backlog**, ensure the product team delivers on client needs and wants, and validate ideas through **continuous feedback loops** to ensure learnings guide timely direction changes.
**What You’ll Do**
------------------
* **Own product vision through customer insight**
+ Gather, synthesize, and translate customer needs into clear product intent and direction.
+ Champion a **human\-centered design** approach across discovery and delivery.
* **Shape and manage roadmap \& backlog**
+ Define and maintain the product roadmap, including sequencing and prioritization.
+ Manage the product backlog to ensure readiness, clarity, and alignment to customer and business value.
+ Make tradeoffs using evidence (customer feedback, usage signals, delivery constraints).
* **Ensure delivery of client value**
+ Work with cross\-functional teams (e.g., design, engineering, UX, stakeholders) to ensure execution aligns with client outcomes—not just delivery activity.
+ Track progress toward outcomes and adjust priorities as needed.
* **Validate ideas through recurrent feedback loops**
+ Use iterative discovery, prototyping, testing, pilots, and/or structured user feedback to reduce risk and increase product\-market/client fit.
+ Incorporate learnings into roadmap updates and backlog refinements.
* **Enable effective product execution**
+ Facilitate product planning, collaboration, and decision\-making with relevant stakeholders.
+ Support transparency through regular reporting on priorities, progress, and key learnings.
* **Continuously improve ways of working**
+ Encourage an experimentation mindset and continuous improvement in product discovery and delivery practices.
**Skills \& Qualifications**
----------------------------
### **Required**
* Proven experience in **product management** or **product ownership** (digital/technology products preferred)
* Strong capability in **customer research / customer insight** and translating insights into product decisions
* Demonstrated ability to manage **roadmaps and backlogs** with clear prioritization rationale
* Familiarity with **human\-centered design** methods and iterative validation (e.g., usability testing, discovery workshops, pilot testing)
* Experience working in **Agile / iterative delivery** environments with cross\-functional teams
* Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and drive product decisions
### **Preferred**
* Experience leading or coordinating product work across engineering and design functions
* Knowledge of product discovery frameworks and evidence\-based decision\-making (metrics, adoption, learning outcomes)
* Exposure to product experimentation practices (A/B testing, prototypes, iterative release strategies)
* Background in product analytics, customer journey mapping, or service design
**How You’ll Be Successful**
----------------------------
* Customer needs are consistently reflected in priorities and delivery outcomes
* Roadmap and backlog remain relevant due to timely validation and learning cycles
* The product team delivers measurable client value and adapts based on evidence
