This is a leadership role requiring daily coordination between design, procurement, workshop production, logistics, and installation teams while maintaining high standards of quality and operational performance. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations \& Production Management * Plan, organize and supervise all daily workshop operations. * Manage production activities for steel fabrication, carpentry, joinery, aluminum, WPC, pergolas, gates, carports, doors, fences, and custom fabrication works. * Develop and monitor weekly and monthly production schedules. * Coordinate between design, procurement, workshop, logistics, and site teams. * Monitor workshop productivity and continuously improve operational efficiency. * Ensure projects are completed within planned deadlines. Team Leadership \& People Management * Lead, supervise, and motivate workshop supervisors, foremen, fabricators, carpenters, welders, painters, installers, and laborers. * Allocate manpower efficiently according to project priorities. * Conduct daily toolbox talks and production meetings. * Monitor staff attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance. * Identify training needs and develop team capabilities. * Build a positive, accountable, and safety\-focused working culture. * Resolve conflicts and operational issues within workshop and site teams. * Evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions or corrective actions where necessary. Fabrication \& Technical Responsibilities * Review fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists. * Verify BOQs before production. * Ensure fabrication complies with approved drawings and project specifications. * Supervise welding, assembly, carpentry works, finishing, galvanizing, powder coating, and painting. * Provide technical guidance to workshop and installation teams. * Resolve fabrication, installation, and production challenges quickly. Carpentry \& Joinery Operations * Supervise production of custom furniture, doors, wardrobes, cabinets, pergolas, wooden cladding, and interior joinery works. * Ensure accurate cutting, machining, assembly, finishing, and installation. * Optimize timber utilization and minimize material wastage. * Coordinate closely with designers to maintain quality and dimensions. Material \& Inventory Control * Coordinate material planning with procurement. * Monitor stock levels and material consumption. * Reduce production waste through proper planning. * Verify incoming materials before production. * Ensure accurate inventory records for workshop materials and finished products. Site Coordination * Coordinate installation schedules with site supervisors. * Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections, and technical coordination. * Support installation teams with technical guidance. * Resolve site issues affecting production or installation. * Coordinate logistics and delivery of fabricated items. Quality Assurance * Ensure all fabricated products meet company quality standards. * Inspect finished products before delivery. * Maintain quality throughout fabrication and installation. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives within workshop operations. Health, Safety \& Compliance * Enforce workshop and site HSE policies. * Conduct regular safety inspections. * Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices. * Maintain clean and organized workshop environments. Reporting \& Performance Monitoring * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. * Track production KPIs and workforce productivity. * Report delays, risks, and corrective actions to management. * Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets. Requirements \& Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. * Minimum **5 years of experience** managing workshop production and fabrication operations. * Proven experience supervising multi\-disciplinary teams in steel fabrication, carpentry, aluminum, or construction. * Strong knowledge of: * Structural steel fabrication Add ons: * Carpentry \& Joinery * Aluminum fabrication * WPC works * Outdoor structures * Gates \& fences * Pergolas \& carports * Ability to read and interpret: * Shop drawings * Fabrication drawings * BOQs * Material cutting lists * Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills. * Excellent leadership and people management abilities. * Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making skills. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and production planning tools. * Experience with ERP systems is an advantage. * Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
