




Summary: Seeking an experienced groundwater modeling specialist to develop and manage complex hydrogeological models, analyze data, and provide expert recommendations for water resource planning and environmental impact assessments. Interpret model outputs and provide practical recommendations Key Responsibilities * Develop conceptual hydrogeological models based on geological, hydrological, geophysical, and hydrogeological data. * Build, calibrate, validate, and update numerical groundwater flow and transport models using industry\-standard software. * Simulate groundwater flow, recharge, aquifer responses, contaminant migration, saltwater intrusion, and dewatering scenarios. * Conduct predictive modeling for water resource planning, infrastructure development, and environmental impact assessments. * Perform sensitivity analyses, uncertainty assessments, and model optimization studies. * Evaluate groundwater abstraction impacts and aquifer sustainability under various development scenarios. * Support groundwater remediation and contaminant transport studies through advanced numerical simulations. * Prepare model documentation in accordance with international standards and regulatory requirements. Technical Analysis * Analyze pumping test data, groundwater monitoring data, and aquifer performance. * Integrate geological, geotechnical, hydrological, and geophysical information into groundwater models. * Assess groundwater recharge, storage, flow dynamics, and water balance components. * Interpret model outputs and provide practical recommendations to clients and stakeholders. * Review and verify third\-party groundwater models and technical reports. Project Management * Lead groundwater modeling tasks within multidisciplinary projects. * Develop project methodologies, work plans, schedules, and technical proposals. * Coordinate with hydrogeologists, geologists, environmental scientists, engineers, and GIS specialists. * Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables. * Ensure timely completion of modeling assignments and technical reports. Reporting and Documentation * Prepare and review technical reports, model development reports, impact assessments, and feasibility studies. * Present technical findings to clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. * Maintain model files, databases, and quality\-controlled documentation. * Provide technical support during project meetings, workshops, and presentations. Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) * Ensure compliance with company QHSE procedures and project requirements. * Adhere to regulatory and environmental standards governing groundwater management. * Promote best practices in sustainable groundwater resource management. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline. * Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or related field (preferred). Experience * Minimum 10 years of experience in groundwater modeling and hydrogeological investigations. * Demonstrated experience in large\-scale groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling projects.. * Experience in arid and semi\-arid environments, particularly within the GCC and Middle East region, is preferred.
