Job Title: Brokerage Software Developer **Company:** Alvarado Brokers IT **Location:** Doha **Employment Type:** Full\-time Overview Alvarado Brokers IT is seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented Brokerage Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high\-performance software solutions that support brokerage operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial systems, trading platforms, and secure backend development, with the ability to deliver scalable and reliable applications in a fast\-paced financial technology environment. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain brokerage and trading software systems supporting front\-office and back\-office operations. * Build and optimize real\-time data processing systems for market feeds, orders, and execution workflows. * Collaborate with business analysts and brokerage professionals to translate requirements into technical solutions. * Integrate APIs for market data providers, trading platforms, and financial institutions. * Ensure system performance, security, and reliability in mission\-critical environments. * Develop and maintain database structures for financial transactions and client data. * Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and efficiency. * Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and agile development cycles. * Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal IT security policies. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. * 3\+ years of experience in software development, preferably in brokerage, fintech, or financial services. * Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C\#, Python, or C\+\+. * Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). * Knowledge of financial markets, brokerage operations, or trading systems. * Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. Preferred Skills * Experience with FIX protocol or other financial messaging standards. * Exposure to real\-time trading systems or high\-frequency data environments. * Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). * Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in financial systems. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
