**Job Description**
The Senior Electrical Engineer\- Resident, shall contribute to manage and execute contracts that includes meeting the contract requirements with respect to quality, time and budget; during the construction phase of major building projects.
A typical work would include but not limited to:
1\. Demonstrate the ability to design and detail electrical systems and installations for various types of buildings, including residential villas, multi\-story structures, industrial facilities, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, and hotels.

Ability to design and detail **ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, structural cabling, data/IT networks, and other low\-current systems** for various building facilities such as multi\-story buildings, industrial facilities, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, and hotels.
3\. Perform full MEP coordination with all engineering disciplines through modeling, detailing, clash detection, and resolving inconsistencies. Responsible for issuing fully coordinated IFC models and drawings for various building types.

5\. Contribute into project planning, progress and technical review meetings

8\. Ability to design power flow, sound systems, security system, fire alarm system, lighting protection, telecommunication and computer system distribution, AMF Panel and UPS system
9\. Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
10\. Review method statements and monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual HSE plan / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
11\. Maintain records for activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
12\. Review and comments changes and variations to scope, specification and schedule as raised by Contractor
13\. Liaison and coordination with other Engineers in the design office for effective coordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines
14\. Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
15\. Follow\-up to ensure the Contractor liaises with service and other authorities in a timely manner. Liaison with officials of involved Government Ministries/Departments for approvals
16\. Review and comment submitted Contractor’s mark\-up and as\-built drawings
17\. Contribute in technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues that may arise on site
**Requirements**
