Involves comprehensive QA/QC documentation and inspection coordination. **We Are Hiring for MEP QA/QC Engineer** **Locally available in Qatar and Can Start Immediately.** **Location: Doha, Qatar** **Job Summary** The MEP QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on construction projects. The role ensures that all installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, local regulations, and applicable international standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements. * Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications. * Conduct inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV installations. * Ensure all work complies with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes. * Raise and monitor Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). * Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and subcontractors. * Identify and report Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective and preventive actions. * Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection records, checklists, and test reports. * Witness testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems. * Ensure calibration of testing and measuring equipment. * Monitor workmanship quality and recommend improvements. * Participate in internal quality audits and client inspections. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during inspections. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * Minimum **8 years** of MEP QA/QC experience in construction projects. * Experience in high\-rise buildings, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. * GCC/Qatar experience is preferred. **Required Skills** * Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems. * Knowledge of international standards such as ISO 9001, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, BS, and local Qatar standards. * Familiarity with inspection procedures, testing, and commissioning. * Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. * Strong problem\-solving and coordination abilities. **What We Offer** ✔ Competitive Salary Package ✔ Career Growth Opportunities ✔ Professional \& Supportive Work Environment Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
