Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance **Job Title: Folding Gluer Operator** **Job Summary:** The Folding Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining folding and gluing machines to convert die\-cut sheets into finished cartons or packaging products. The operator ensures accurate folding, precise gluing application, high production efficiency, and consistent product quality while adhering to safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Set up and operate automatic folding gluer machines according to job specifications. * Install and adjust folding rails, belts, glue guns, and compression sections. * Adjust machine speed, alignment, and glue application settings. * Ensure proper folding sequence and accurate carton formation. * Monitor glue quality, bonding strength, and alignment throughout production. * Inspect finished cartons for defects such as improper folding, glue spillage, weak bonding, or misalignment. * Minimize material wastage and maintain optimal machine performance. * Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance of equipment. * Troubleshoot minor mechanical or glue system issues and coordinate with maintenance when necessary. * Maintain production records including output, rejection rate, and downtime. * Follow company safety policies and ensure a clean and organized working area. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** * High school diploma or technical certification preferred. * Minimum 3–5 years experience operating folding gluer machines in printing or packaging industry. * Experience in paper cartons, food packaging boxes, or similar products is an advantage. * Knowledge of carton styles (straight line, crash lock bottom, 4/6 corner boxes, etc.). * Ability to read job orders and technical drawings. * Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills. * Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods. **Skills \& Competencies:** * Strong understanding of carton folding and gluing process * Attention to detail and quality control * Mechanical aptitude * Time management and productivity focus * Team coordination with die\-cutting and finishing departments * Safety awareness Kindly share your CV to hrq@janapack.com Pay: QAR2,000\.00 \- QAR3,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
