Coordinate endpoint security and maintain IT service management processes **Job Description — Information Technology Lead** **Job Title:** Information Technology Lead **Department:** Information Technology **Location:** Qatar **Reports To:** Management **Job Purpose** The Information Technology Lead is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s IT services, systems, devices, networks, user access, software subscriptions, and technology assets are reliable, secure, and well managed. The role leads day\-to\-day IT support while coordinating with internal departments, vendors, procurement, finance, and cybersecurity teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the IT service desk, manage user support requests, meet response\-time targets, and resolve day\-to\-day technical issues. * Create, modify, review, and remove user accounts and access rights for employees, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding. * Administer Microsoft 365 services, including user licences, mailboxes, devices, policies, and reseller coordination. * Manage the full lifecycle of IT equipment, including computers, printers, phones, peripherals, setup, maintenance, replacement, retirement, and disposal. * Maintain an accurate IT asset register, including asset tagging, ownership, allocation, audits, and compliance records. * Operate and maintain office and store IT infrastructure, including Wi\-Fi, network equipment, cameras, firewalls, cabling, printers, and telephony systems. * Source IT vendors and support procurement activities, including obtaining quotations, recommending suppliers, following up on delivery, invoices, payments, and renewals with Procurement and Finance. * Manage software subscriptions, renewals, licensing, IT expenditure, and related payment or credit\-card settlements. * Coordinate endpoint security, device updates, patching, antivirus, and security alerts with the Cybersecurity team. * Identify, document, track, and close IT risks, ensuring evidence is maintained and corrective actions are completed. * Maintain IT service\-management processes, ensuring service desk activities, asset controls, and security requirements are properly documented. * Support the delivery of managed IT services to external clients in coordination with the Services Department. * Prepare weekly IT reviews, KPI scorecards, and reports covering tickets, assets, licences, compliance, risks, and service performance. * Coordinate with Digital Transformation, Infrastructure \& Cloud, AI, Development, Project Management, Wallet, and other departments on access, onboarding, systems, and operational support. **Qualifications and Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 4–6 years of practical IT support, systems administration, or IT operations experience. * Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, user access management, endpoint/device management, and IT asset management. * Good knowledge of networking, Wi\-Fi, firewalls, CCTV, printers, telephony, and office IT infrastructure. * Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals, patch management, endpoint protection, risk tracking, and IT controls. * Experience coordinating IT vendors, procurement, subscriptions, invoices, and renewals. * Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, prioritization, and stakeholder\-management skills. * Experience in a multi\-site, retail, services, or fast\-paced business environment is preferred.
