Summary: This role involves greeting customers, managing reservations, handling transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service in a restaurant setting. Highlights: 1. Customer interaction and feedback management 2. Efficient transaction processing and cash handling 3. Maintaining a clean and functional workstation Duties and Responsibilities• Greet customers entering or leaving the restaurant premises. * Answer all telephone calls in a courteous and professional approach and take messages. * Take reservation messages • Respond to queries in a timely manner and communicate any important messages. * Interact with customers to have general feedback on services provided.• Ensure workstation is properly clean prior to start of service and after closure. * Manage transactions using cash registers and point of sale system (POS).• Process credit card transactions and ensure correct amount is settled. * Ensure electronic billing machine/device is properly functioning and report any fault or anomalies. * Hand over feedback form to clients while processing transactions.
