Contribute to developing coding proficiency for healthcare careers Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part\-Time Medical Coding Trainer to deliver engaging and practical training sessions on medical coding concepts, coding guidelines, healthcare documentation, and industry best practices. The trainer will be responsible for preparing learners for industry\-recognized certifications and developing their coding proficiency for healthcare careers. Key Responsibilities * Deliver instructor\-led training on Medical Coding, including ICD\-10\-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. * Develop and update training materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments. * Conduct classroom, online, or hybrid training sessions as scheduled. * Explain medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes relevant to coding. * Provide practical coding exercises, case studies, and real\-world scenarios. * Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback. * Prepare students for certification exams such as CPC, CCS, CCA, or equivalent. * Track attendance, assessments, and training progress. * Stay updated with coding regulations, payer guidelines, and healthcare industry developments. * Support learners with career guidance and interview preparation when required. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Information Management, or a related healthcare field. * Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS, CCA, CIC, or equivalent certification preferred. * Minimum 2–5 years of hands\-on Medical Coding experience. * Previous training or teaching experience is highly desirable. Required Skills * Strong knowledge of ICD\-10\-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. * Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to simplify complex coding concepts for learners. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms. * Strong organizational and time management skills. Working Hours Flexible hours based on training schedules, including evenings and weekends as required.
