Foster a culture of inclusiveness, collaboration, and professional growth. ### **General Information** Ref \# 234861 Location Qatar\-Doha Job family Specialist * Closing Date: 2026\-08\-05 ### **Description** **About your role** As Nurse Manager, you will responsible for ensuring that patients cared for within their area of responsibility (aeromedical, primary care, lifestyle and performance or occupational health), receive compassionate, quality care by ensuring that the nursing care meets the safety, quality and professional standards highlighted in nursing regulations and scope of practice of the State of Qatar. Also, responsible for embedding a culture of inclusiveness and collaboration across their area of responsibility by providing a visible, authoritative presence, displaying clinical and professional credibility and by enabling and empowering staff through education, sharing of knowledge and expertise and acting as an advocate for the patient and staff. **Your duties would include:** * Support the line manager of nursing operations and the executive team in implementing strategic plans, performance management frameworks and key aims and objectives for service delivery. * Provide day to day leadership of the specialty nursing teams, working collaboratively with relevant clinical leads to improve the care pathways and promote patient access. * Ensure appropriate skill mix, deployment and utilisation of the specialty nursing workforce, that is consistent with national regulatory and international best practice. * Responsible for the monitoring, review and redesign of nursing practice within area of responsibility, evaluating the practice environment and the quality of nursing care in relation to existing evidence. * Implement transparent and collaborative communication strategy and structure for the nursing team, ensuring regular daily, weekly and monthly communication briefs for area of responsibility. * Responsible for the management of specialty\-based nursing team leading on performance appraisals and sickness absence monitoring in line with QR standards and protocols. * Support line manager to drive forward and shape a culture of change, innovation and transformation to facilitate clinical leadership and support service reconfiguration. * Responsible for ensuring that facilities within area of responsibility meet all of the MOPH, Fire and Safety and IPC standards, in collaboration with IPC and other QR professionals ensure regular patient safety walks are conducted and that actions plans to rectify issues are implemented. **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. Together, everything is possible. ### **Qualification** We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Group Health and Medical Services \- team. The ideal candidate should possess the following: * Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job\-related experience. * Advanced Diploma in Nursing and/or Midwifery (minimum 3/4 years duration) OR Bachelor of Science (or similar) in General Nursing/Midwifery/Mental Health/Paediatric Nursing. * Minimum of 6\+ Years' of relevant experience. * Valid nursing license in country of origin and eligibility for license with the DHP in the State of Qatar. * Command of English language. * Ability to provide transformational leadership to the area of responsibility/team of nurses. * Knowledge of legislative, regulatory \& policy guidance relevant to the nursing and midwifery practice. * Knowledge of clinical nursing practice in healthcare environment i.e. hospital/large primary care organisation/occupational health or lifestyle and performance. * Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. * Managerial skills \- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members. **Preferred:** * Master's Degree in Healthcare Related Field/Leadership/Management (MBA). * Post Graduate/Diploma Qualification in an appropriate nursing related subject i.e., leadership, management, advanced nursing practice in appropriate nursing area/specialty. * Certification of nursing specialty (aviation/flight nursing, primary care, emergency care, occupational health, health improvement and wellbeing, clinical governance/infection control). * Experience and/or knowledge of working within the aviation industry. * Experience and/or knowledge of working within Aeromedical/Flight Escort Nursing, Primary Care, Occupational Health Nursing or Emergency care nursing. **About Qatar Airways Group:** Our story started with four aircraft.
