Be a key part of building a vibrant and inclusive store environment. We are preparing to launch a new dedicated trading card game retail store in Doha. We specialize in popular TCGs including Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu\-Gi\-Oh!, and other collectible card games and accessories. We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join us from the beginning and help prepare, launch, and operate our new store. The Role This is more than a standard retail position. As one of the first members of the store team, you will help get the shop ready for opening, organize inventory and displays, assist customers, support TCG events, and help build a welcoming community around the store. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys trading card games, is comfortable talking with customers, and is willing to take initiative. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service. Help customers choose TCG products, accessories, and collectibles. Maintain strong knowledge of Pokémon, One Piece, MTG, Yu\-Gi\-Oh!, and other major TCGs. Operate the POS system and accurately process cash and card transactions. Receive, organize, price, and restock inventory. Help prepare merchandise, shelving, displays, and other areas of the store before launch. Keep the store organized, clean, and presentable. Assist with product launches, tournaments, trading events, and other community activities. Help promote a friendly and inclusive environment for both new and experienced TCG players. Assist with conventions, pop\-ups, tournaments, and other Jafar Rips events when required. Help with general day\-to\-day store operations and take on additional responsibilities as the business grows. What We’re Looking For Required: Good knowledge of trading card games and the TCG community. Previous retail, shop, sales, or customer\-service experience. Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Good communication skills. Willingness to learn new products and games. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when required. Must currently be located in Qatar (local hire only). Ability to obtain visas and travel to surrounding GCC countries for conventions, tournaments, and other events when required. Preferred: Experience working in a TCG, hobby, gaming, collectibles, or similar retail store. Familiarity with Shopify POS or other retail POS systems. Experience organizing or participating in TCG tournaments and events. Knowledge of card grading, collectibles, accessories, and current TCG releases. Arabic and English language skills are an advantage. Who Would Be a Great Fit? Someone who already enjoys the TCG hobby and wants to turn that interest into a career. Because this position begins during the launch of the Jafar Rips retail store, we particularly value someone who is proactive and willing to help wherever needed, rather than someone looking only for a traditional cashier or sales position.
