URGENT HIRING – SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER **Position**: Senior Planning Engineer **Location**: Qatar **Recruitment**: Local Recruitment Only **Salary Package**: QAR 13,000 **Experience**: 8–12 Years **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline **Employment Type**: Full\-Time **Job Purpose** The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, updating, and controlling project schedules to ensure the timely completion of project activities. The role will support project management by monitoring progress, identifying schedule risks and delays, and recommending corrective actions. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain project baseline schedules using Primavera P6\. * Prepare WBS, detailed project schedules, and resource\-loaded programs. * Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S\-curves, manpower histograms, and KPI reports. * Identify critical path activities and analyze schedule variances. * Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans for project delays. * Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors. * Review and monitor subcontractor schedules and performance. * Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay analysis when required. * Assist in preparing tender schedules and project execution plans. * Participate in project coordination meetings and provide planning updates. * Forecast project completion dates and resource requirements. * Maintain planning records and project schedule documentation. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. * 8–12 years of relevant planning experience in construction or infrastructure projects. * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office. * Experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, and EOT preparation. * Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project controls. **Core Competencies** * Strong planning and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Leadership and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. * Strong knowledge of project planning and controls. * Important Requirement Pay: QAR13,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline? * How many years of hands\-on experience do you have with Primavera P6? * Are you familiar with construction methodologies and project control? * How soon you can join if ever you get hired?
