Specialized in Switchgears, Control Systems, and Instrumentation We are seeking a highly motivated **Technical Sales Coordinator** with a strong electrical engineering background to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will act as the technical bridge between our sales team, clients, and international suppliers. You will be responsible for preparing quotations, managing orders, and coordinating the complex logistics of import/export, specifically for **Switchgears, Control Systems, and Instrumentation**. **Key Responsibilities** **Sales \& Technical Support:** * Prepare accurate and competitive technical proposals and quotations for low\-voltage (LV) and medium\-voltage (MV) switchgear, control panels, and instrumentation projects. * Review client technical specifications and tender documents to ensure compliance with local (Qatar) and international standards. * Coordinate with the engineering team to interpret technical drawings and bill of materials (BOMs). * Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding product specifications, delivery schedules, and technical queries. **International Procurement \& Logistics:** * Manage the end\-to\-end **import and export** process for electrical materials, ensuring compliance with Qatar Customs and international trade regulations. * Source and negotiate with international manufacturers and suppliers for switchgear components, control instruments, and electrical accessories. * Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of goods to project sites in Qatar. * Prepare and process Letters of Credit (LC), commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. **Operations Coordination:** * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of critical electrical components. * Liaise between the local sales team and overseas factories regarding production timelines and shipment updates. * Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, sales orders, and shipping documentation. **Qualifications \& Requirements** **Experience:** * **3 to 5 years** of proven experience in a technical sales, coordination, or procurement role within the Electrical industry. * **Mandatory:** Experience dealing with **import, export, and international purchasing** procedures. **Technical Knowledge:** * **Strong Electrical Background** (Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred). * In\-depth knowledge of **Switchgears** (e.g., ACBs, MCCBs, VCBs), **Control \& Instrumentation** items (e.g., PLCs, VFDs, Sensors, Transmitters, Relays). * Familiarity with international brands and manufacturers. **Skills:** * Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Excellent negotiation and communication skills. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple international orders simultaneously. **Eligibility:** * **Must be currently available in Qatar** with a valid QID and the ability to transfer sponsorship (if applicable). * Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
