Summary: Seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Networks professional for operation, maintenance, and commissioning of backbone networks, including testing and fault response. Highlights: 1. Engage in network route planning and emergency fault resolution Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent * Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in Fiber Optic Networks * Strong experience in: * Installation * Splicing * Testing * Commissioning * Hands\-on experience with: * OTDR * Fusion Splicing Machine * Optical Power Meter * Laser Source * Must have attended certified Fiber Optic technical trainings * Preferred experience with: * Ooredoo * QNBN * Vodafone Qatar * Valid Qatar Driving License * Fluent English (Arabic is an advantage) * Computer literate (MS Office \& AutoCAD) Detailed Responsibilities: * Operation \& Maintenance of Kahramaa Fiber Optic backbone network * Perform cable laying, jointing, termination \& splicing activities * Conduct OTDR testing and analyze attenuation reports * Execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) * Perform commissioning of new fiber links * Network route planning \& route survey coordination * Attend fiber cuts and emergency faults (24/7 standby) * Prepare technical reports \& testing documentation * Conduct preventive inspections and network audits * Coordinate with control centers and contractors Job Type: Permanent Pay: QAR16,000\.00 \- QAR22,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Current Salary?
