Summary: Seeking a dedicated cost control professional to implement policies, analyze expenses, and ensure financial efficiency through meticulous monitoring and reporting. Highlights: 1. Monitor pricing decisions and their impact Key Responsibilities : 1\- Monitor and validate all cost\-related transactions. 2\-Implement cost control policies and procedures. 3\-Review daily consumption and variance reports. 4\-Analyze food, labor, and overhead costs. 5\-Audit procurement and inventory transactions. 6\-Prepare cost of sales and margin reports. 7\-Monitor spoilage and waste metrics. 8\-Validate supplier price changes and purchase orders. 9\-Compare actual vs standard costs. 10\-Support menu engineering and profitability studies. 11\-Participate in budgeting and forecasting. 12\-Monitor pricing decisions and their impact. 13\-Identify trends in overspending or inefficiencies. Qualifications, skills and experience Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. ·Certification in cost control or CMA preferred. Experience: ·5–7 years in cost accounting/control roles. ·ERP and inventory software experience. ·Experience in team supervision. Knowledge and Skills: ·Familiarity with F\&B or supply chain operations. ·Strong numerical and trend analysis skills. ·Attention to accuracy and detail. ·Cost and margin analysis. ·Recipe costing and standard cost models. ·Inventory valuation and variance analysis. ·Food cost and waste tracking systems. ·Forecasting and planning alignment. ·Budget compliance monitoring. ·Expense analysis and audit. ·Menu profitability and cost benchmarking. ·Fixed vs variable cost understanding. ·Monthly and year\-end closing for cost books. ·Reporting and visualization (Excel, dashboards). Preferred Language/s: · Fluent in English; Arabic preferred. Work Location: In person
