Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients Senior Designer / Draftsman – Architectural Metal \& Glass Works **Job Description:** We are looking for an experienced **Senior Designer / Draftsman** with strong experience in **architectural metal and glass works**. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical drawings for bespoke architectural projects involving stainless steel, glass, aluminium, mild steel, and decorative metal works. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed **shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings**. * Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D/isometric drawings. * Prepare drawings for **stainless steel, glass, aluminium, MS/GI, handrails, balustrades, doors, gates, partitions, decorative metal works, and façade elements**. * Review architectural, structural, and IFC drawings and identify discrepancies. * Take and verify site measurements when required. * Prepare fabrication details, fixing details, connection details, and material specifications. * Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, fabrication teams, consultants, and clients. * Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and site conditions. * Prepare **as\-built drawings** and maintain proper drawing revisions. * Provide technical support to the workshop and site installation teams. **Requirements:** * Minimum **5 years of relevant experience** in architectural metal and glass works. * Strong knowledge of **AutoCAD** is essential. * Experience in preparing **shop drawings and fabrication details**. * Good understanding of stainless steel, aluminium, glass, MS/GI and decorative metal works. * Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings. * Knowledge of **Revit / SketchUp / SolidWorks or other 3D software** will be an advantage. * Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments. * Candidates with **Qatar/GCC experience** in architectural metal and glass works will be preferred. Pay: QAR4,000\.00 \- QAR8,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
