Leadership role in a Project Management Consultancy environment **Program Director** **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Candidate Eligibility:** Local candidates currently residing in Qatar **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead and manage major engineering programs and project portfolios within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment. The role will oversee strategic planning, program governance, master scheduling, contracts, risk, stakeholder management, and successful delivery of complex multi\-project programs. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage major programs and project portfolios in line with strategic and operational objectives. * Develop program strategies, implementation plans, and integrated delivery frameworks. * Apply Program/Portfolio Management and PMO methodologies. * Develop and manage the overall Master Program Schedule from design through handover. * Integrate projects across schedule, cost, quality, and deliverables. * Establish governance, controls, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems. * Oversee risk management, mitigation plans, contracts, tenders, claims, and variations. * Lead multidisciplinary technical and administrative teams. * Coordinate project managers, consultants, contractors, government entities, and other stakeholders. * Oversee operational readiness, handover, and project acceptance. * Represent the program before senior management, government entities, and official committees. * Prepare executive presentations, progress reports, analytical reports, and recommendations. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, contractual, and technical requirements. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Master's degree in Engineering or PhD in Project Management, Program Management, Engineering Management, Construction Management, Procurement/Contract Management, Business Administration, or Strategic Management is preferred. * 20\+ years of experience in engineering project or program management. * Minimum 10 years in leadership positions at Program/Portfolio level. * Proven experience within a PMC environment or owner/client representative role. * Strong experience managing major project portfolios or multi\-project programs. * Experience with government, quasi\-government, major infrastructure, or complex building projects is preferred. * PMP or equivalent project management certification is mandatory; PgMP, PMI\-RMP, PMO, RICS, or Contract Management certifications are advantageous. * UPDA/MMUP Grade A engineering classification is preferred. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong Program and Portfolio Management expertise. * Excellent strategic planning, governance, and PMO capabilities. * Strong knowledge of master scheduling and integrated project controls. * Extensive contract, tender, claims, variations, and risk management experience. * Strong stakeholder management and government liaison skills. * Excellent leadership and multidisciplinary team management abilities. * Strong analytical, decision\-making, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills. * Ability to manage complex programs and multiple stakeholders effectively. **Ready to Join Our Team?** If you have proven expertise in program leadership, portfolio management, PMC operations, major project delivery, governance, contracts, and stakeholder management, we'd love to hear from you.
