Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced **Construction Manager** with strong expertise in **building construction projects**, preferably with proven experience in **ASHGHAL projects and Qatar Municipality approval processes**. The Construction Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision and execution of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable Qatar regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of **Qatar construction practices, ASHGHAL requirements, Municipality approvals, consultant coordination, subcontractor management, and multidisciplinary construction activities**. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and supervise all construction activities from **mobilization through completion and handover**. * Lead the site construction team, including Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors. * Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly construction activities. * Ensure works are executed according to **approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules**. * Coordinate with the **Client, Consultant, ASHGHAL, Qatar Municipality, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers**. * Review project drawings, specifications, BOQ, scope of work, and contractual requirements. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of planned activities. * Coordinate with the Planning Engineer to monitor project schedules and recovery plans. * Ensure adequate manpower, materials, equipment, and resources are available at site. * Coordinate Civil, Architectural, Structural, MEP, and finishing works. * Review and coordinate **shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, inspection requests, and technical submissions**. * Ensure all required approvals are obtained before commencing relevant construction activities. * Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Coordinate inspections with Consultants and relevant authorities. * Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved standards. * Coordinate with QA/QC teams regarding inspections, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation. * Ensure strict compliance with project **HSE requirements**. * Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential construction risks and delays. * Resolve technical and construction\-related issues in coordination with the Consultant and Project Management team. * Monitor project costs and coordinate with Commercial/Quantity Surveying teams regarding variations and claims. * Participate in progress meetings and provide updates to management. * Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. * Manage project snagging, de\-snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover. * Ensure completion of **as\-built drawings, O\&M manuals, warranties, test certificates, and other close\-out documentation**. **ASHGHAL Experience:** The candidate should have practical experience with **ASHGHAL projects in Qatar**, including: * Coordination with ASHGHAL representatives and Consultants. * Understanding of ASHGHAL project specifications and requirements. * Coordination of inspections and approvals. * Management of technical submissions and project documentation. * Handling RFIs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and consultant comments. * Ensuring compliance with approved materials and construction methodologies. * Coordinating project handover and authority requirements. * Managing client/consultant inspections and closing observations. **Qatar Municipality Approval Experience** Experience in dealing with **Qatar Municipality approval procedures** is highly preferred.
