Opportunity to work on Oil & Gas construction and maintenance projects We are seeking an experienced **QA/QC Mechanical Inspector** for an Oil \& Gas project. The candidate should possess **QA/QC inspection experience** in Oil \& Gas construction, shutdown, commissioning, or maintenance projects and will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical works comply with project specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform QA/QC inspections for mechanical installation, fabrication, piping, structural, and equipment works. * Verify materials, dimensions, and workmanship against approved drawings, specifications, and Inspection \& Test Plans (ITPs). * Conduct inspections during installation, hydrotesting, pressure testing, alignment, and mechanical completion activities. * Witness and document inspection and testing activities. * Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, NCRs, and quality documentation. * Ensure compliance with project quality procedures, client specifications, and international standards. * Coordinate with construction teams, supervisors, and client inspectors for inspection activities. * Monitor corrective actions and verify closure of quality issues. * Maintain QA/QC records and support project documentation for handover. **Requirements** * Degree/Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. * Minimum **3 years of QA/QC Mechanical Inspection experience** in Oil \& Gas projects. * Experience in piping, structural, pressure vessels, rotating/static equipment, or mechanical installation is preferred. * Good knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and relevant international codes and standards. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P\&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications. * Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation. **Preferred Certifications** * CSWIP 3\.1 / BGAS / API / NACE (if applicable) * ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (preferred) **Candidate having a valid QID on freelance and immediate availability to join will be preffered.** Pay: From QAR1\.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Are you currently available in Qatar with valid QID? * Your Visa Status (Freelance or Company Sponsor) * Which industry do you have experience in? * Joining Availability?
