We specialize in custom cybersecurity frameworks, network optimization, and high\-security IT alignment for enterprise and government clients across Qatar and the GCC. **Position Summary** We are seeking a high\-caliber **Senior Network \& Security Architect** on a project/freelance basis to lead an upcoming comprehensive network assessment and infrastructure refactoring engagement for an enterprise leisure/hospitality client in Doha. In this role, you will act as the lead SME, conducting a thorough technical audit (evaluating active VLANs, Layer\-3 interfaces, and perimeter VPN setups) and crafting a multi\-phase optimization and security remediation roadmap. **Key Responsibilities** * **Technical Discovery \& Audit:** Perform end\-to\-end network infrastructure assessments, analyzing network complexity, Layer\-3 interfaces, and active VLAN configurations. * **Perimeter Security Remediation:** Identify perimeter security risks, address VPN configuration/IP mismatches, and establish immediate remediation protocols. * **Architecture Design \& Roadmap:** Formulate a two\-phase optimization roadmap focusing on immediate perimeter defense and core hardware refactoring toward a streamlined Layer\-2 aggregation design. * **Client Presentation \& Advisory:** Interface directly with client stakeholders and executive leadership to present technical findings, risk analyses, and strategic modernization plans. * **Delivery Alignment:** Work alongside Metazyber’s local delivery and support engineers, directing execution requirements for implementation phases. **Role Details \& Engagement Model** * **Job Type:** Project\-Based / Freelance Contract * **Duration:** 2 to 3 weeks (Assessment \& Strategy Phase) * **Location:** Doha, Qatar (Hybrid: Onsite discovery/presentations with flexible remote analysis) * **Schedule:** Standard working hours with occasional after\-hours maintenance/testing windows as needed. **Required Qualifications \& Experience** * **Experience:** Minimum 8–10 years as a Senior Network Architect, Lead Security Consultant, or Principal Enterprise Engineer. * **Technical Mastery:** * Deep expertise in enterprise network architecture (VLAN segmentation, L2/L3 interface design, core refresh strategies). * Strong background in perimeter security, VPN topologies, firewall policies, and zero\-trust concepts. * Hands\-on experience refactoring complex high\-density enterprise networks. * **Certifications:** CCIE (Routing \& Switching / Security), CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent high\-level certifications preferred. * **Consulting Skills:** Excellent technical documentation skills, client\-facing presentation ability, and familiarity with GCC regulatory compliance frameworks. **Application Details** * **Compensation:** Fixed project fee / milestone\-based payout * **How to Apply:** Please submit your updated CV/Resume highlighting similar network assessment/architecture engagements.
