Tellers build customer relationships and promote the bank's services. **Key Responsibilities:** * Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing. * Verify customer identity, account details, and transaction legitimacy to prevent fraud. * Balance cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, ensuring strict accuracy. * Answer basic customer inquiries regarding accounts and services. * Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate financial specialists (e.g., for loans, new accounts, or investments). * Prepare and process essential documents and reports. * Maintain a neat and secure workstation and adhere to all bank security and compliance procedures. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * High school diploma or equivalent (required). * Prior cash handling or customer service experience is a plus. * Strong numerical and data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Professional demeanor, reliability, and a high degree of integrity. * Basic proficiency with computers and common office software.
