**Position :** Electrical Engineer – Oil \& Gas (Qatar) **Location:** Qatar **Contract Duration:** 24 Months (Extendable) **Salary:** QAR 9,000 – 10,000 (All\-Inclusive) **Work Days:** 6 Days a Week **Work Hours:** 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM **Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled **Electrical Engineer** to join our client, a multinational engineering organization's Oil \& Gas project team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring hands\-on design experience in electrical systems, proficiency in engineering tools, and the ability to deliver quality engineering solutions for both onshore and offshore oil \& gas facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large\-scale engineering projects in a dynamic environment with a long\-term contract. **Key Responsibilities** * Carry out the study, design, specification, and detailed engineering of conventional devices, systems, units, or facilities within the electrical discipline. * Prepare key electrical engineering documents including: * Cable layouts * Earthing layouts * Lighting layouts * Equipment layouts * Selection, sizing, and specification of electrical equipment * Preparation of datasheets and technical documentation * Perform electrical design calculations and simulations using **ETAP**, **DiaLux**, and other discipline\-specific software. * Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and client specifications. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals. * Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning stages. **Qualifications \& Experience** * **Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering** from an accredited university. * **5–10 years of post\-graduate experience** in engineering consultancy or EPC companies, preferably within the **oil \& gas sector**. * Strong command of electrical design software (ETAP, DiaLux, etc.). * Familiarity with local and international engineering standards. * **MMUP Certification** is an added advantage. * Prior experience in **site construction and commissioning** will be considered an advantage. **Why Join Us?** * Long\-term **24\-month extendable contract**. * Exposure to challenging **oil \& gas projects** in Qatar. * Professional growth within a supportive and technically strong team.
