This role is designed for an individual who is curious about global markets, understands the interconnectedness of fiscal and monetary policies, and thrives on producing research that informs high\-level business and investment strategies. Working alongside senior leadership and cross\-functional teams, you will evaluate regional and international economic developments, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and produce research that supports strategic decision\-making. Your work will directly influence planning, forecasting, and long\-term organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct in\-depth macroeconomic research on global, regional, and domestic economic conditions. Analyze economic indicators, financial markets, fiscal and monetary policies, and geopolitical developments. Develop economic forecasts and scenario analyses to support strategic planning. Produce research papers, briefing notes, market outlooks, and executive reports. Monitor emerging economic trends and assess their potential impact on industries, investments, and business operations. Present research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership. Collaborate with analysts and business teams to translate economic insights into practical strategies. Maintain high standards of data integrity, research methodology, and analytical accuracy. Qualifications We're looking for someone who combines rigorous quantitative skills with the ability to communicate economic insights clearly and persuasively. Required: Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Macroeconomics, Finance, Econometrics, Public Policy, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience in macroeconomic research, economic forecasting, or policy analysis. Strong understanding of monetary policy, fiscal policy, international trade, and and financial markets * Advanced analytical and statistical capabilities with experience interpreting complex economic datasets. * Excellent report writing and presentation skills for executive audiences Experience working with government institutions, financial organizations, consulting firms, central banks, or multinational corporations. Proficiency with econometric and statistical software such as R, Python, Stata, EViews, or MATLAB.
