Collaborate with dev and ops teams on deployments and incident response. **Overview** We’re seeking a proactive Systems Administrator in Doha to manage, maintain, and secure our server, network, and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. **Key responsibilities** * Install, configure, and maintain servers (Linux and Windows) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper\-V). * Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP): provisioning, cost management, backups, and monitoring. * Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and implement tuning and scaling. * Administer network components (switches, routers, firewalls) and troubleshoot connectivity issues. * Implement and maintain security controls: patch management, access controls, hardening, and vulnerability remediation. * Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions; perform regular restore tests. * Support identity and access management (Active Directory/Azure AD, LDAP, SSO). * Automate routine tasks using scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). * Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. * Provide L2/L3 support and collaborate with dev and ops teams on deployments and incident response. **Qualifications** * 3\+ years experience in systems administration or related role. * Strong Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server experience. * Experience with virtualization (VMware) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes basics). * Hands\-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP). * Networking fundamentals and experience with firewalls, VLANs, routing. * Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) and familiarity with automation/IaC (Terraform, Ansible). * Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK). * Knowledge of backup solutions and DR planning. * Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. * Relevant certifications preferred (RHCE, MCSA, AWS Certified SysOps/Associate, Azure Administrator). * English fluency required; Arabic a plus.
