




Summary: This role involves comprehensive procurement responsibilities, including bid preparation, supplier negotiations, market research, compliance, and vendor management, while adhering to procurement policies. Customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability * Prepares formal invitations for bids and request for quotations, including required special terms and conditions, performance and technical data. * Negotiations planning and execution with suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms. * Strong negotiator with demonstrable ability to influence. * Responsible for high\-cost savings targets. * Ensures market research to source alternate supply sources. * Ensure product compliance with health and safety policies and procedures. * Assess the financial performance of the products. * Shall make and compile comparison reports where applicable. * Shall make, create and send Local Purchase Order to the supplier on time. * Shall make follow\-ups and track orders and confirm delivery on specified time and location. * Managing vendor and supplier performance. * Coordination with Accountant for invoice discrepancies and payment. * Shall keep all important records, purchase orders, receipts, contracts for retrieving documents. * Shall promote and implement the procurement policy proactively within the business. * To provide monthly procurement reports accurately and on time. **Experience and Skills:** * Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or a similar role in Qatar. * At least 7 years' experience in Procurement/Purchasing. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus. * Creative Thinking and Commercial Awareness. * Thorough knowledge of procurement principles and practice. * Positive attitude, detail, and customer\-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability. * Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and targets. * Ability to demonstrate and perform due diligence and strong attention to detail. * Ability to provide proof of vendor list and savings tracking. * Holding a valid Qatar driving license. The salary includes the allowances for transportation and accommodation.
