Assistant F&B Cost Controller

Summary: The Assistant Cost Controller supports F&B cost management by calculating item costs, recommending solutions for shortages, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory control. Highlights: 1. Supports F&B cost management and policy monitoring 2. Identifies cost-saving opportunities and conducts audits 3. Manages inventory, analyzes stock, and updates POS systems The Assistant Cost Controller supports the F\&B Cost Controller for calculating costs of food and beverage items, to the change in pricing of the menus or change the prices of certain items based on the information they ‎collect, recommends solutions if food or beverage shortages occur. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Monitors conjointly with the F\&B Controller the cost controller policies , management plans contracts, recommendation plans * Supports the F\&B Controller in establishing menu change process and ingredient/recipes adding process * Highlights cost saving opportunities * Runs monthly Cost Control audits and reports * Undertakes physical inventory randomly each month * Draws the opening inventory and menu items before any new store opening along with the Line Manager and Finance. * Performs Stock Variance Analysis, recipes transfers between locations * Undertakes stock movement/ trend analysis and monitoring of fast moving consumer goods * Reports changes in the purchase prices affecting Cost of Sales * Responsible for POS/ Micros updates to ensure the accurate listing of current food/ beverage/ retail items **REQUIREMENT** : * Graduate from College/ University with a Finance related degree * 2\-3 years of total experience with at least 1\-2 years in the Hospitality, Catering or FMCG sector * Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic desirable * Intermediate in MS Office suite * MICROS, Simphony, Fidelio Material Control * ERP experience desirable Experience: * F\&B Cost controller: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
