Contribute to protecting critical systems and information Role Overview Odambe is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to strengthen its cyber defense capabilities by leading incident response efforts and conducting in\-depth security investigations. This position is designed for professionals who can rapidly assess emerging threats, analyze security events with precision, and coordinate effective responses to minimize operational risk. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding business assets, supporting cyber resilience initiatives, and delivering actionable intelligence that enhances the organization's overall security posture. Key Responsibilities Investigate cybersecurity incidents from initial detection through containment, eradication, and recovery. Analyze security alerts, logs, and forensic evidence to determine the scope, impact, and root cause of security events. Coordinate with internal technology teams to manage incident response activities and ensure timely resolution. Document investigation findings, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Identify patterns of malicious activity and contribute to continuous improvements in detection and response capabilities. Support post\-incident reviews by providing technical analysis and recommendations to strengthen organizational defenses. Maintain awareness of current cyber threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices to enhance response readiness. Ensure incident handling activities align with organizational security policies and compliance requirements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. * Demonstrated professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or incident response. * Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack methodologies, threat landscapes, and defensive technologies. * Proven ability to investigate security incidents, perform technical analysis, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and documentation skills. * Ability to manage multiple investigations while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
