Summary:
Supervise garage and workshop activities, plan work for staff, monitor vehicle maintenance, diagnose problems, and ensure safety and compliance.

Key Duties \& Responsibilities
* Supervise daily activities of the garage and workshop.
* Plan and assign work to mechanics, technicians, electricians, and other garage staff.
* Monitor servicing, repair, maintenance, and inspection of company vehicles and equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and ensure proper corrective action.
* Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed on time.
* Inspect completed repair work and ensure vehicles are safe for operation.
* Maintain records of vehicle servicing, repairs, spare parts, and maintenance history.
* Coordinate with drivers/operators regarding vehicle faults and maintenance requirements.
* Monitor the availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
* Control workshop inventory and request spare parts and materials when required.
* Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the garage/workshop.
* Enforce **HSE, safety, and company procedures** within the workshop.
* Ensure technicians use appropriate PPE and follow safe working practices.
* Monitor workshop productivity, repair turnaround time, and manpower utilization.
* Coordinate with external garages and suppliers when specialized repairs are required.
* Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports for management.
* Control maintenance costs and minimize unnecessary repair expenses.
* Ensure vehicles comply with required inspection, registration, and road\-safety requirements.
* Train, guide, and evaluate garage staff performance.
* Report major vehicle defects, accidents, breakdowns, and maintenance issues to management.
Requirements
* Diploma or ITI/Technical qualification in **Automobile/Mechanical Engineering** or related field.
* Minimum **5 years of experience** in vehicle workshop/garage operations.
* Previous experience in a **supervisory role** is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
* Experience with **heavy vehicles, trucks, buses, construction equipment, or fleet vehicles** is an advantage.
* Good leadership, communication, planning, and problem\-solving skills.
* Qatar/GCC garage or fleet\-management experience preferred.
* Valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.
Pay: QAR3,500\.00 \- QAR4,500\.00 per month
