Expert in soil, foundation, concrete, masonry, and asphalt inspections **Position:** Sr. Civil QA/QC Inspector **Number of Vacancies:** 1 **Location:** Qatar Job Description We are seeking an experienced **Sr. Civil QA/QC Inspector** with strong Oil \& Gas project experience to ensure that civil construction and inspection activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes. Key Responsibilities * Conduct inspections of civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements. * Inspect **soil preparation, excavation, backfilling, foundations, and concrete works**. * Inspect reinforcement steel, formwork, embedded items, and concrete placement. * Monitor and inspect **masonry, plastering, finishing, and interior works**. * Inspect roofing systems, waterproofing, and related civil works. * Inspect **asphalt works**, including subgrade, base course, asphalt laying, and compaction. * Verify materials and workmanship comply with project specifications and approved standards. * Review inspection and test reports, material certificates, and quality documentation. * Raise and follow up on NCRs and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented. * Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives. * Ensure compliance with the project **ISO 9001 Quality Management System**. * Apply relevant **building codes and project specifications**, including the **International Building Code (IBC)**. * Participate in client inspections, testing activities, and quality meetings. * Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare daily/weekly quality reports. Requirements * Minimum **10 years of experience as a Civil QA/QC Inspector**. * Minimum **5 years of Oil \& Gas industry experience**. * **QatarEnergy approval is mandatory**. * Strong knowledge of **ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems**. * Good knowledge of **building codes, standards, and project specifications**. * Practical knowledge of the **International Building Code (IBC)**. * Proven inspection experience in: * Soil and foundation works * Reinforcement and concrete works * Masonry works * Interior and finishing works * Roofing and waterproofing works * Asphalt and road works * Strong knowledge of civil construction quality control and inspection procedures. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements. * Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills. * Experience in Oil \& Gas / EPC projects is highly preferred. **Only candidates meeting the mandatory experience and QatarEnergy approval requirements will be considered.** Application Question(s): * What is your Availability for Joining?
