Summary: Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead complex IP and cable networking projects from pre-sales to post-implementation support, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting. Highlights: 1. Lead complex networking projects from design to implementation and support. 2. Expert in advanced IP networking, including switches, routers, firewalls. 3. Supervise engineers and technicians, and manage vendor relationships. **A. Duties and Responsibilities:** · Performs detailed and cost\-effective Project/Pre\-Sales Engineering for all areas of IP and cable Networking Solutions; · Lead design supervisor during the draft of detailed technical designs of all areas of networking projects, based on specific client project requirements, making expert recommendations related to customer desires; · Supervise Installation, configuration and testing of all active equipment for IP networking; · Supervise industry standard testing of structured cabling network; · Advanced configuration of active IP networking including switches/routers, firewall, DMS wireless and advanced IP Voice systems of various manufacturers; · Troubleshoot issues with manufacturer TAC/support staff regarding deep product issues; · Senior Engineer for broad design issues related to Networking Design sub\-team; · Provides engineering support for networking issues during all phases of customer projects, including pre\-sales, implementation, and post\-implementation support; · Manages relationships with multiple industry vendors and equipment providers at all levels; · Responsible for developing and maintaining written procedures related to all areas of responsibility for the position; · Supervises Engineers and Technicians during design and implementation as required by specific projects; · Technical Lead on all Network projects/designs; · Perform other tasks related as delegated by direct manager or superior. **B. Education \& Experience \& Certifications:** Ø Bachelor degree from accredited university in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field. Ø Minimum 5 years relevant experience in multiple areas of networking Ø CCIE/HCIE certified or equivalent, RCDD required Ø Minimum 5 years relevant experience in designing network systems in new building construction projects, remodelling and refit projects, based on client’s drawings and specifications Ø Network Consulting Experience is a Plus Ø Senior network implementation expert in advanced networking and structured cabling implementation, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting Ø In depth knowledge of IP backbone structure, including LAN/WAN, firewall and WIFI Ø Detailed knowledge in IP Voice systems from multiple vendors Ø Significant Knowledge and experience in Network issues related to Security, Physical Security, AV, CCTV **C.** ­**Skills \& Abilities:** Ø Superior analytical and problem\-solving skills Ø Detail oriented and organized Ø Reads and understands shop drawings and specifications Ø Superior written and verbal communication skills in the English language Ø Customer Service oriented, maintaining professional Client Relationships Ø Excellent time management skills Ø Position is time intensive, depending on the project and may involve travel and frequent off\-site travel Ø Ability to adapt to industry developments and new technologies.
