Involves precise winding, insulation, sheathing, and quality testing. **Job Title: Industrial Heater Fabrication Technician** **Location:** Doha, Qatar **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **Fabrication Technician** specialized in the manual production and assembly of industrial heating elements. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in manufacturing **mica heaters, ceramic band heaters, and nozzle heaters** according to custom technical specifications. **Key Responsibilities** * **Heater Assembly:** Manually fabricate industrial heaters, including cutting, bending, and assembling mica and ceramic components. * **Element Winding:** Calculate and perform precise winding of resistance wires (such as Nichrome) to achieve specific wattage and voltage requirements. * **Insulation \& Sheathing:** Apply insulation layers and fit stainless steel or brass outer casings/sheaths securely. * **Technical Drawing Interpretation:** Read and manufacture heaters based on specific mechanical drawings, ensuring all dimensions (ID, OD, and Width) are exact. * **Termination \& Wiring:** Install various lead wire types, terminal boxes, and plugs, ensuring high\-quality connections and heat resistance. * **Quality Testing:** Conduct insulation resistance tests and continuity checks on finished products before delivery. **Required Qualifications \& Skills** * **Direct Experience:** Proven experience in a workshop or factory environment specifically making **mica and ceramic heaters**. * **Technical Math:** Ability to calculate resistance ($R \= V / I$) and surface load to ensure the heater meets power requirements. * **Precision:** High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail when working with small components and fragile ceramic parts. * **Tool Usage:** Skilled in using spot welding machines, rolling machines, and shearing tools. * **Material Knowledge:** Understanding of different grades of resistance wires, mica sheets, and ceramic insulators. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a dedicated industrial heating element manufacturing plant. * Ability to suggest improvements for heater durability and efficiency. * Immediate availability in Qatar with a transferable visa.
