Oversee installation, calibration, and maintenance **Job Summary** We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Damper Supervisor** to join our technical team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, calibration, inspection, and maintenance of various damper systems (including Fire, Smoke, and Volume Control Dampers) across our project sites. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring all HVAC ductwork\-related safety equipment complies with Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) regulations and international building standards. **Key Responsibilities** * **Site Supervision:** Supervise day\-to\-day installation and maintenance activities of damper systems on\-site. * **Technical Compliance:** Ensure all damper installations meet project specifications, NFPA standards, and Qatar Civil Defense requirements. * **Quality Control:** Conduct rigorous inspections and testing (performance, leakage, and operation) of dampers to ensure seamless functionality. * **Team Leadership:** Manage, mentor, and schedule a team of site technicians to ensure project timelines are met. * **Documentation:** Prepare daily progress reports, snag lists, and technical inspection reports for project managers. * **Coordination:** Coordinate with other MEP trades (duct fabricators, mechanical engineers) to resolve site clashes or installation issues. * **Safety Adherence:** Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on\-site at all times. **Required Qualifications \& Skills** * **Experience:** Minimum of 7 years of professional experience specifically in the HVAC/Ducting field within **Qatar**. * **Technical Knowledge:** Comprehensive understanding of DAMPER types (motorized, manual, fire/smoke), UL\-rated dampers, and VCDs. * **Local Knowledge:** In\-depth knowledge of Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) fire safety codes and local construction industry standards. * **Communication:** Strong command of English (written and verbal); ability to communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and site workers. * **Leadership:** Proven ability to manage a team and solve technical problems under tight deadlines. * **Education:** Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred. **Requirements** * **MUST have local experience in Qatar.** * Must be available to join immediately or within a short notice period. * Freelancer is prefer Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred) * power station: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
