Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools * Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, chillers, heat pumps, ventilation units, and split systems. * Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic tools. * Install and replace compressors, motors, thermostats, condensers, evaporators, fans, and other HVAC components. * Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. * Check refrigerant levels, detect leaks, and safely recover, recharge, and handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations. * Inspect and clean air filters, ducts, coils, and ventilation systems to ensure efficient operation. * Test system performance, airflow, temperature, and pressure to optimize equipment efficiency. * Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment inspection logs. * Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime. * Coordinate with engineers, electricians, and maintenance teams to complete projects efficiently.
