We are seeking a highly experienced **Material Engineer** with a strong background in **Quality Control (QC)** for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and approving construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review and prepare material submittals, technical data sheets, and prequalification documents in line with project specifications. * Evaluate materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements, international standards, and QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications). * Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to finalize materials and resolve technical issues. * Conduct inspections and testing of materials at site and third\-party laboratories. * Maintain records of material approvals, test reports, and QC documentation. * Ensure timely material delivery to site in coordination with procurement and project teams. * Provide technical support to the construction team regarding materials and quality\-related matters. * Monitor compliance with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) policies, procedures, and specifications. * Participate in audits, inspections, and site quality meetings. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Materials Engineering or related field. * Minimum **10 years of experience** in material engineering and QC within the construction industry (preferably in Qatar). * Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and international standards. * Proven experience in preparation and review of material submittals and technical documents. * Hands\-on experience in material inspections and quality testing. * Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. * **UPDA certification** (preferred/advantage). * Excellent documentation, reporting, and problem\-solving skills.
