Senior Technician / Technical Team Leader – Marine Electronics We are seeking an experienced **Senior Technician / Technical Team Leader** to take responsibility for our technical team and workshop operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands\-on experience in **marine navigation systems, marine electronics, troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, and repair**, with the ability to lead technicians and manage technical work efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead, supervise, and manage the day\-to\-day activities of the technical team. * Assign jobs, monitor progress, and ensure all technical work is completed to a high standard. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, configure, and test marine navigation and electronic systems. * Have strong knowledge of marine systems, including: * GPS and chartplotters * Fishfinders and sonar systems * Marine radar * VHF communication systems * AIS systems * Autopilot systems * Marine networking and integrated navigation systems * NMEA 2000 and other marine communication networks * Perform fault finding and advanced troubleshooting on marine electronic systems and devices. * Support installation, commissioning, configuration, and testing of marine equipment. * Read and understand wiring diagrams, technical manuals, schematics, and system configurations. * Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments regarding technical issues and repairs. * Train, guide, and support junior technicians. * Prepare technical reports, service reports, repair quotations, and job summaries. * Manage workshop tools, equipment, spare parts, and technical inventory. * Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical support when required. * Ensure the workshop is clean, organized, safe, and operating efficiently. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** * Minimum **5 years of experience** in marine navigation systems, marine electronics, and technical troubleshooting. * Strong knowledge and practical experience with **marine navigation and integrated marine systems**. * Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and electronic faults. * Experience in installation, configuration, commissioning, and repair of marine electronics. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a technical team. * Valid **driving license** is required. * Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical tasks under pressure. * Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. * Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and technical service platforms is preferred. * Customer\-oriented, responsible, organized, and solution\-focused. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits. * A stable and supportive working environment. * Training from leading international brands in marine navigation and electronics. * Opportunity to lead and develop a professional technical team. * Career growth within a growing company.
