Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions **Career Opportunity – Electrical Engineer (Fire Alarm / Fire Systems)** **Location:** NAFFCO Qatar We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer specializing in Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical support of fire alarm systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and prepare fire alarm system layouts, shop drawings, and technical submittals. * Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements. * Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm and fire protection systems. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams throughout project execution. * Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions. * Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD) requirements, and project specifications. * Prepare as\-built drawings, testing reports, and project handover documentation. * Provide technical support during inspections, approvals, and project closeout. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Fire Alarm or Fire Protection Systems. * UPDA Certified. * Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD) Certified. * NFPA, NICET, or CFPS certifications are an advantage. * Experience in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment with attention to detail and project deadlines.
