Job Summary
BAIC Future Motors is seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented **PDI Supervisor** to oversee all Pre\-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities and ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest quality standards before customer delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate all Pre\-Delivery Inspection (PDI) operations for new vehicles.
* Ensure vehicles are inspected, tested, cleaned, and prepared according to manufacturer and company standards.
* Allocate daily tasks to PDI technicians and monitor productivity and quality.
* Conduct final quality checks before vehicle handover.
* Identify and report any technical defects, damages, or missing accessories and ensure timely resolution.
* Coordinate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth vehicle delivery processes.
* Maintain accurate PDI records, inspection reports, and vehicle readiness status.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures, workshop standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
* Monitor workshop housekeeping and maintain a clean and organized PDI area.
* Train, guide, and evaluate PDI staff to improve performance and efficiency.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive PDI, service operations, or workshop supervision.
* Previous supervisory experience in an automotive dealership is preferred.
* Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and quality control procedures.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and inspection checklists.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems is an advantage.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Valid driving license preferred.
