Career growth into Chief Technology Officer or Head of Engineering roles **Job Summary:** Global ITS Digital Transformation Qatar WLL is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Director to lead enterprise software development strategy, engineering teams, and large\-scale digital product delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing full software development lifecycle management, architecture governance, engineering excellence, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high\-performance digital platforms. If you are an experienced software engineering leader with strong technical and strategic capabilities, this is a key opportunity in Qatar’s digital transformation and enterprise technology sector. **What you'll do:** * Lead enterprise software engineering strategy and technical delivery across multiple projects * Oversee full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, design, development, and deployment * Manage engineering teams including backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA specialists * Define software architecture standards, coding practices, and engineering governance frameworks * Ensure scalability, performance, and security of enterprise digital platforms * Collaborate with product, design, and business teams on roadmap execution * Implement CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices * Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud\-native solutions * Monitor engineering KPIs including velocity, quality, uptime, and system performance * Drive innovation in software architecture and digital transformation initiatives **Requirements:** * Experience in software engineering leadership or engineering director roles * Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or .NET * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture * Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices * Experience managing large\-scale engineering teams and enterprise systems * Strong technical architecture and system design expertise * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Experience in digital transformation or enterprise software delivery is preferred **Why work with us:** * Join a leading digital transformation company in Doha * Opportunity to lead enterprise\-scale software engineering initiatives * Exposure to advanced cloud\-native, AI, and digital platform technologies * Strong focus on innovation, engineering excellence, and scalable systems * Career growth into Chief Technology Officer or Head of Engineering roles Pay: QAR30,000\.00 \- QAR55,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
